Fourteen rooms in a Georgian townhouse five minutes from the Abbey. No conference suite, no chain buffet, no piped anything — just a good bed, a deep bath and a proper breakfast.

Rates include breakfast and are per room per night. Direct booking is always the lowest price we offer.
The smallest rooms, on the second floor. Double bed, walk-in shower, a desk that is actually usable.
First floor, facing the walled garden at the back. King bed, roll-top bath and a sitting chair by the window.
Two suites with their own terrace over the garden. Separate sitting room, and the only rooms that take a third bed.
The hotel
Every room was stripped back to brick in 2021. The money went into mattresses, water pressure and soundproofing rather than a lobby installation nobody looks at twice.
